Welcome to Faadugyan Blog

Greetings readers, visitors, supporters & critics!

On the midnight of 15th August, Pandit Nehru gave his famous 'Tryst With Destiny' speech and entered history books as the first Prime Minister of Independent India. Well, to start with, I accept that I am no Pandit Nehru but please allow me to try and copy a few lines (albeit edited to suit it my feelings) from that famous speech.

"Long time ago, I made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, FaaduGyan will awake to life and verve. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul, long suppressed, finds utterance."

Yes, what started with an 'I' subsequently got changed to 'We'. There are people who have helped this endeavor to reach this point - a point where FaaduGyan ceases to be a normal blog and goes on to become a website. And yes, the transition shall be slow and painful wherein you may have to endure some testing components, some glitches and offline times with the website.

The time has come to start on a journey towards greatness, a journey which may be tiring and frustating at times and joyful and pleasant at the other times; and just as Pandit Nehru said, it is being done not wholly or in full measure but substantially, and gradually. A journey which hasn't been easy so far and promises to be tougher in the times that lie ahead. But it's a journey that I am committed to for a life time. Faadu Gyan, represents not only my vision but also my undying passion of and desire for contributing something to the student fraternity in my own way.

I know that readers, visitors and supporters may change over time and a new breed may take up the struggle in years to come, but I do hope that many years down the line, when a teenager is searching for career options, his father would recommend FaaduGyan as the best source to approach.

However, I do realize that nothing can be perfect, and there may be times in the near future when the site may not perform up to your expectations. Those are the times when I pray to you to have some patience, for FaaduGyan is at a neonatal stage and will need all your support and guidance to grow to the level that you expect it to see.

Moving further along the path mentioning the people who have been immensely supportive of this venture, the first name that comes to my mind is Wafa Deshmukh, the co-admin of the entire website. I do hope that she can continue her great work for a long time and also achieve the goals that she has set for herself. As for the rest of the people who I would like to thank, apart from my parents, are Prashant Tewari, Praveen, Haresh, Abhineet and Saurabh Sood; all of whom have helped it by being the indispensable cogs in the wheel at some point of time or the other. I also want to thank my elder brother for making me realize - at the very outset - that this path isn't going to be easy.

Now, to conclude I just wish to quote one more admirable personality...

"Main toh akela hi chala tha janib-e-manzil magar
Log milte gaye aur karwan badhta gaya"

I hereby present to you FaaduGyan, the website.

Thank You.
